A warm welcome to two new arbnco team members

We’re happy to say that we’re expanding and with that we have two new members of staff!

Andrew Stewart will be joining us as R&D Product Manager. Andrew has a background in research and development and over 15 years’ experience in roles in both academia and industry, including over 6 years working for innovative university spin-out companies.

He did his undergraduate degree at the University of Manchester before moving to Scotland for his MSc (University of St. Andrews) and PhD (Heriot-Watt University). He continued on an academic career path with a postdoctoral position at the University of Cambridge before leaving academia to join SensL a spin-out company based in Cork, Ireland. He then joined a Warwick University spin-out company before being appointed a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining arbnco he was Funding Manager with the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC). He is a member of the Institute of Physics and is an alumnus of the prestigious Scottish Crucible programme.

We also have Colin Parry starting with us who will be our Data Scientist Technical Lead. Colin is an experienced data professional with a varied career from writing and optimising industrial control strategies and automating wind energy analysis, to creating data warehouses and report writing. Most recently Colin was technical lead for data science in a large industrial organisation where he was responsible for predictive maintenance, customer profiling and fleet optimisation. He holds a BSc in Applied Physics from the University of Strathclyde and an MSc in Renewable Energy and Environmental Modelling from the University of Dundee.

Happy to have two new arbnco members!
